The HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S III

The Apple iPhone 5 can’t be far away

Sprint, a telecommunications company in the US has lowered the price of the iPhone 4S by $50 from August 8th. This is a strong indication that the company is shortly expecting the release of the iPhone 4S.

This makes the price of the 16GB Apple iPhone 4S $150 on a 24 month contract. The 32GB and the 64GB is $250 and $350 respectively.

It is expected that the iPhone 4S will be announced in the September, most likely the 12th. Keeping with Apples tradition of quick releases after announcements, it would be highly likely that the phone will be available for purchase a couple of weeks after that.

Apple recently reported a strong increase in revenue, rising to $35 billion. This was however, lower than the market had expected so the share price dipped nearly 10% as a result.
