Internet causing trends to go the way of the dodo

It seems that with the global economy and the current state of internet retailing, trends are starting to disappear.

In the past, there used to be a piece of fashion which had a big impact on that years style and was a must have item for  your wardrobe. Such examples include skinny jeans, male cardigans, etc. This single piece of clothing dominated that particular seasons fashion and many different designer brands would be pushing the same style of product.

Online shopping has changed all this and it has become the norm that people have access to all the fashion that is being released world wide as soon as it’s released. Online stores usually have big warehouses where they are not restricted to the amount of inventory they can hold meaning they can hold all available styles for this seasons, last season, winter through to summer.

Online stores such as StrawberryNet give you access to all the latest cosmetics as soon as you hear about it. You can also get better deals with a StrawberryNet coupon than you get when you purchase in store.

Introducing the Dell Latitude E5430

It seems that these days the fashion in computing leads to tablet PC’s and Ultrabooks with thin and light characteristics. The Dell Latitude E5430 ignores these aspects and maintains the traditional look and feel.

The problem with having a laptop that is ultra thin and light is it means you have to forego other aspects such as ruggedness, features and cost.

The Dell Latitude E5430 weights 4.5 pounds which makes it very much on the heavier side for notebooks.  The notebook shell is black and has silver lining around it and has Dell’s TriMetal.

The screen is 14 inches in size and has a anodized aluminium backing with a magnesium alloy frame. The hinges are made from zinc alloy and all these materials make the device feel very rugged and sturdy.

The device has a reasonable price starting at $529 and is even cheaper with a Dell Coupon. The base model has an Intel Core i3 processor and 2GB of RAM.

The HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S III

There was a review done by PC Advisor recently about the two biggest (literally) Android devices available this year. These devices are the HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S3.

The HTC One X had a significant lead over the Samsung Galaxy S III in terms of time on the market. During this time, the HTC One X was able to capture a lot of the market and many commented that this device was one of the best that HTC had produced for a while.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 was released and did take a lot of the shine away from the HTC One X. The Galaxy S3 is slightly bigger than the One X but not enough to be very noticeable. The Galaxy S3 is thinner and measures 8.6mm whereas the One X measures 8.9mm.

In Australia Samsung Galaxy S3 plans are more expensive than HTC One X plans so therefore the HTC still has some good sales.

The Apple iPhone 5 can’t be far away

Sprint, a telecommunications company in the US has lowered the price of the iPhone 4S by $50 from August 8th. This is a strong indication that the company is shortly expecting the release of the iPhone 4S.

This makes the price of the 16GB Apple iPhone 4S $150 on a 24 month contract. The 32GB and the 64GB is $250 and $350 respectively.

It is expected that the iPhone 4S will be announced in the September, most likely the 12th. Keeping with Apples tradition of quick releases after announcements, it would be highly likely that the phone will be available for purchase a couple of weeks after that.

Apple recently reported a strong increase in revenue, rising to $35 billion. This was however, lower than the market had expected so the share price dipped nearly 10% as a result.

In Australia, the iPhone 4S continues to be Apple’s best selling device. The iPhone phone plans continue to be the most popular available. You can achieve lower costs for the device if you have promo codes however. Vodafone promo codes seems to be the most popular.
